If you were a great HS QB why would you want to play in the SEC?

I'll take the opinion of Joe Gibbs, a 3 time Superbowl winning coach, on Jason Campbell over yours, no offense.
"Well you know Joe Gibbs is a veteran loving guy. But he picked Campbell in the first round for a reason--he loves the kid's potential."

No offenses to you or Gibbs but he wont ever make it to a superbowl ever again. I would have listened to his opinion 15 years ago but personally I think he should have stuck w/NASCAR home skillet. :thumb:  :thumb:

Yeah.. but wasn't he like a 2 or 3 star? I was mostly making a joke though.. If I were a 2 or 3 star player at any position, I'd definately consider Hawaii (who gets mostly 2 stars)... Live in Hawaii for 4 or 5 years? I mean, thats gotta be great...

what better way to prep for the NFL then to play against D's most like the NFL and to Run Offenses most like the NFL?

Take for example Jay Barker. He had no NFL potemtial, handed the ball off every play, and is being taken care of by everyone who cares about Alabama football.

SEC fans are so passionate, they give former players great connections.

Not to mention the coaching in the league is great with good NFL connections; which is what most high school QB's care about.

brodie croyle, jason campbell, rex grossman, doug johnson, jesse palmer, DJ Shockley, rohan davey, matt mauck, eli manning, jared lorenzen, anthony wright, peyton manning, jay cutler.

    starters: rex, eli, peyton
could be starters in near future: croyle, campbell, wright, cutler

3/32 but in next couple of years should add cutler, campbell and possibly croyle so maybe 6/32

non "big 6 conference QBs who are starters"
    losman
    culpepper
    pennington/ramsey
    29
    mcnair(boller?)
    charlie frye
    roethlisberger
    26.5
    david carr
    byron leftwich
    billy volek(VY?)
    24
    kitna/mccown
    favre
    22
    delhomme
    21
    warner(leinart?)
    alex smith
    19.5

so 19 QBs are from the "big conferences", heres a conference by conference breakdown:

big 10: brady, trent green, brees
pac 10: palmer, plummer, bledsoe, brunell, leinart(warner?), boller(mcnair?)
    SEC: peyton, eli, grossman
    big 12: VY(volek?), simms
ACC: aaron brooks, phillip rivers, brad johnson, mike vick, hasselbeck
    Big East: mcnabb, bulger

    big 10: 3
    pac 10: 5
    SEC: 3
    big 12: 1.5
    ACC: 5
    Big East:2

but in all likelihood, cutler and campbell will be replacing two pac-10 schools as starting QBs. just some numbers, think what you want and correct me if i made any errors, i was cranking numbers

I'd be suprised if Croyle ever saw the field in a real game.

I look for those QB numbers in the NFL to improve. LSU has 3 (going to be 4 after we sign Jarret Lee) highly, highly recruited QBs - including 5 star Ryan Perrilloux.

Arkansas has a 5 star, Mustain, coming on campus soon. Georgia has a 5 star that will see action this year, Stafford; and Florida has their savior 5 star QB in Tebow.
