1. Seriously I'm not kidding when I say that when they announced that USC had lost, that was the loudest I have EVER heard Tiger Stadium. I honestly did not think that TS could be any louder, but my God, was it deafening.

The band struck up the Chinese Bandits song and followed it with the Geaux Tigers cheer. It was amazing.

Not to mention just how much elation and electricity was in the air as the final pass was knocked to the ground.
  2. You're killing me. :sob: :sob: :sob: That's it I'm moving back. Do they teach SCUBA diving at LSU.

  3. Oh, and I forgot to mention that they were late singing the alma mater after the win because everyone... the coaches... players... the FULL student section... was still jumping around and celebrating. It's going to go down as one of my favorite moments in LSU football.

Not sure on the SCUBA, though. I'll check into it. ;)
  4. I told my wife that having been a Tiger fan since the early 80's and having been to many games that I was pretty sure this was the best, most exciting LSU game I had ever seen.T

    Thanks Carface. :thumb:
  5. I know this has already been said, but when they announced the USC score that was the loudest I've ever heard ANY stadium. I'm only a freshman at LSU, so I havent been to too many LSU games, but Ive been to tons of ATM and Texas games.... and man, that roar blew the **** out of any games ive seen there.

Swerved, you have said it all with this statement. I did the same, thought the same from my living room 578 miles away. What a great time to be a Tiger!:eek:ldskule:
  7. the breakdown of my game experience: 8:30 a.m-load truck up,unload kids at folks house. 9:25 A.M.-set up tailgating spot, start cooking ,open the gallon of crown.11:45-meet up with orlandotiger, okietiger, batgirl, lsugirlintx, and a couple others.5:40 P.M-wife and I make our way to see the new tiger come down the hill with the band.7:30 p.m.-kickoff.Place is rocking, entire team lead by CUM makes a diect b-line to our eye in the middle of the field and proceeds to jump on it like a bunch of monkeys.7:31-9:40=the best and most exciting time I have ever had.9:47 p.m.(about 9 min. into the third quarter)i get the phone call"COME GET YOUR KIDS,THEY ARE NOT LISTENING AND I CAN'T HANDLE THEM ANYMORE!"10:45 P.M-driving home with my sleeping children in the back of the truck, screaming along with my wife, honking my horn, driving down range avenue in denham springs after the last pass was deflected.THE END.:bncry:

  9. Oh man, meauxjeaux2! I think I'd have to find some new 'folks'..... either that or next time leave a roll of duck tape with them along with the kids.....
  10. yeah,it sucked bad.As my wife and I were walking away from the stadium,I would hear loud screaming start up from the crowd, then with sad eyes just look over at my wife, she would grab my hand and console me,then we would go about another 100 yds. then have to go through it all over again, and again, and again. All I have to say is thank god for 98.1 F.M.
