What that has to do with moderating, I've got no idea!

I'd rather not see men biting other men!

Sorry, but my interest in Nick Saban's career will pretty much end when the last seconds tick off the clock in the Capital One Bowl. I haven't watched an entire NFL game in years and don't intend to start doing it now.

Thanks for everything, Nick. Hope Miami is everything you think it will be. Buy hurricane insurance.

Yup count me in as one who is an LSU Tiger Fan. Nick Saban is no longer an LSU Tiger by his choice, could care less about what he does. Flame away...

  5. I'll look at Nick the next few years with interest but he let me down today. Let him take care of his self, and we'll fix this thing at LSU. I just really could have done without all the lies.

cause you're a moderator aren't you???? What is your take on the poor judgement of Saban.or is that your deal you jump on somebody else's bandwagon just to make yourself look good. we all have opinions. What's Yours. We're not biting other men, just merely stating opinions. I don't give a chit about rep points---------take them---------I'll still be an LSU football fan with an opinion

    GUINNESS DRAUGHT APPROVES THIS STATEMENT

I'm glad I'm not the only person that feels this way. I keep up (minimally) with Michael Clayton, Dominick Davis, Rohan Davey and other players. But I don't go out of my way to watch them play. I just have no interest in the pro game. I guess it's because there is just no feel of personal investment by the players. I mean, at the college level, the players are more than just players...they're students. They are personally involved with people outside of the athletic department.

I do wish Nick luck. But I won't start buying Dolphins jerseys, etc. Man, if you could see all of the people in the Knoxville area that are diehard Colts fans now because of Manning...it's pretty funny.

Actually Paul Dietzal left LSU in somewhat of the same manner. A couple of years after a national championship.

IS he any LESS of a LSu tiger.

many of you may not like this or even believe this but Saban will be in the LSu history books and 10 years from now will be mentioned along side such great LSu coaches as Dietsal and Mcclendon. get a grip folks.

Every coach leaves its the nature of the business. :dis:

I hope he has luck at Miami but really I am not a miami fan so it makes no difference.

Another thing I'm concerned about are all the capital projects that happened at LSU because Saban asked for them. LSU does them in good faith and Nick signs a 7-year 'contract'. Now, here we are renovating the stadium. The next coach has a lot riding on him. Does this now make the job look like a big risk? I mean, the next coach will think, "I have to fill those seats to pay for everything Nick wanted". Hmmm? Maybe I'm wrong and LSU doesn't have to pay for it. I know the TAF foots a lot of the bill, but does LSU have anything to pay? Of course, LSU no longer has to pay that fat 'contract' for Saban.

Tennessee, I watch former LSU players with great interest. I am a huge fan of Double D, I went to one cowboys game in 5 years, to see Josh Reed play and wore my LSU stuff...

Saban is no more the former coach of LSU then he is the former coach of MSU. Right ??? I mean he bolted on each after the same amount of seasons correct ???

The difference - They are LSU tigers.... Always will be... On monday night football they say "Michael Clayton - LSU" or "Tory James - LSU"
Nick Saban is no longer an LSU tiger, he left by choice after LSU gave him everything he asked for. Those men are still and always be Tigers and I will cheer for them. As for Saban in my mind is the coach of the Miami Dolphins and could care less about what he does. I am still struggling with what to do with my autographed picture of him sitting on top of the very monitor I am typing on here...

":many of you may not like this or even believe this but Saban will be in the LSu history books and 10 years from now will be mentioned along side such great LSu coaches as Dietsal and Mcclendon. get a grip folks"

Yes he will and the operative word in that comment... History....
Hey I dont think anyone is wrong for continuing to support Saban, I wont lie I am very bitter right now because I believed so deeply all his "I am not leaving" speeches and the family finding a home blah blah blah... I am holding back a ton. Maybe when my dissapointment subsides and we the people of Louisiana (those of us who are LSU fans) and LSU moves on I kind look more positively at what Saban has done over the last year really with the Bears and now with Miami. But right now... I am not a Saban fan... maybe I need to get a grip...
