I'll still be a fan of Coach Saban

I'll be glad to hold on to it for you. for postage paid. :hihi: he may win a super bowl or two LOL :lol:

 

The next coach will think....what great facilities, what great support by the administration, what great fan support here, damn the pay is good, look at all that talent already on the team and in and around Louisiana. This is a great opportunity for a good coach to have great success.

I keep up with the players some just because of the LSU link. I hope they all do very well. But once they move onto the NFL, I just don't have the interest in the pro game to follow them much. I agree with your take on Nick. He left after LSU gave him everything he wanted. He's no longer a Tiger after the Capital One Bowl.

My opinion is pretty cut and dry. I am thankful to Saban for the great run of success he created here at LSU. I wish him the best with his new job.

While I'm disappointed to see Nick go, I must say I have absolutely no grudge towards him about it. Yes, it sucked for this to happen on Christmas but that's the way things go sometimes. My point is, given the opportunity I would have probably done the same thing he did. I'm sure part of him wanted to stay, but he felt an offer like this one in particular may never come around again.

Well, I hope he succeeds, but I won't cheer for Miami or anything just because he's their coach.

That Saban v. Bellicheck storyline is gonna be epic, though. You know Nick's gonna paste a bullseye on Bill's back the day he takes over as coach. Good storyline.

 

Isn't it kind of RIDICULOUS for somebody born and raised in Louisiana to be a Miami Dolphins fan?

Tell me when you buy a Dolphins warm-up jacket and wear it around Breaux Bridge . . . I'll bet you get lots of weird looks from people.
