1. Its political theater and Trump is using children as props.
  2. Actually, the Trump administration is enforcing a law voted on by Congress. The political theater comes from the fact that neither side really wants to fix the problem. For years both sides said we need to fix the problem yet nothing gets done because its used as a political issue. If they solve it, what will they use to garner votes in the next election, or the one after that etc? One thing I would hope people recognize is that Trump is actually doing things instead of talking about them. He is upsetting the apple cart built by the established Washington insiders and they don't like it
  3. Ill say this..the republicans have had full control of both houses and the presidency. Yet they have not passed any law. Same was true with democrats under Obama. Neither has, because neither wants to. If they did really want to solve it we don't need a wall (although I'm not opposed to one) we just need to take away the incentive to come here. Hammer the dudes that hirer these guys and the problem goes away.
