How many times have we seen mediocre coaches from an average at best conference fail miserably in the SEC. This was possibly the best example. If you are up 21 on Kansas, you can call off the dogs. The best schools there do not have the talent and speed of our worst schools. It was as though Miles did not know that Tennessee had that big #10 next to their name in the rankings. They are ranked that high for a reason.
Don't forget, OSU was up on Texas 35 - 7 last year and lost 56 - 35. Seems Les has a habit of failing to protect leads.
It's just like he said after ASU though: he was hoping to lay that defense back a little and hope for interceptions or fumbles like the first half. I hear everybody saying that the first half schemes were better.........it was the same defense but Tenn. dropped about 6-10 wide open passes. They started catching them the second half. Piss poor defense.........and piss poor offensive playcalling.
