i hate it when people try and say others aren't "true fans" when they predict a loss for said team. So in order to be a true fan you have to wear blinders and make homer predictions 100% of the time regardless of how ridiculous they are?
Sorry ya'll, I'm just dyin' that we can't go 19-0 and win the bowl on Miami's home field (also after a huge comeback against the Dolphins in Miami during the regular season) and finally shut the 72 Dolphins up. I'm just pissed. Sorry to take it out out you, Tirk. I'm just superstitious and really heartbroken.
let me explain how the gris gris works. its ok to say you are going to lose. it works in reverse. bragging and saying we are going 19-0 sets you up to fail. this is elementary stuff. assume the worst- hope for the best. then just realize the defense sucks balls.
Just to explain a little. Everyone that I saw on this board predicted Saints wins. Islstl was posting 11-0 saints vs. pats, 13-0 saints, etc.. and they kept coming true. Tirk was the first I noticed to predict a loss. I saw it on Thur or Fri and it actually had me worried all weekend. So, I kinda took it out on Tirk. Didn't mean to say Tirk caused the loss. It's just superstition, paranoia, dissappointment and all of the above. Again, sorry to attack you. the loss just sucks ass!
Now that just hurts my feelings. Go back to the first post in this thread, which I started and give me some m-f'in credit! Just kidding dude.
You said you were worried. Obiviously, rightly so. But, you didn't put a loss in writing. Again, not to put blame on Tirk. He obviously saw something many of us didn't. props, but I just wish it were the other way around.
This is much a do about nothin. Man we lost a game, so what. I look at it as a silver lining as someone else already mentioned. The pressure of undefeated is over with and now we can concentrate on the rest of the season and not losing any of those games.
