Then why don't we go after Saudi Arabia. Their oil reserves make Iraq like like a babbling brook. And, besides, we have enough oil in our own hemisphere but the tree hugging liberals keep us from drilling for it.
We do have buttloads of oil in this hemisphere, but the oil off the Alaskan coast is almost exclusively in shale. That would make drilling in anwar way to costly, and with earthquakes along in Cali it is way to risky. In fact none of the oil compamies really want to get involved in those situations. Bush won't even discuss Florida offshore drilling. I wonder if diluted political dynasty has anything to do with it.
