Im not talking about this year. Go back to the last year Petrino was at Auburn and compare it to before Petrino and then the next year without Petrino. This was pre-Borges. You will see the difference and what I'm talking about. He improved Campbell greatly while he was there.
If I'm not mistaekn, Meyer retained him at Fla. If Petrino does get the job, I think it enhances our chances (did I just say that?) to get RP. What QB wouldn't want to play in that offense?
I'm going to have to question the "Blockbuster Deal" part. That would just be bad business. If it was a guy like Spurrier or Davis, then I'd say it was realistic, but not for BP. I imagine the contract would be heavily incentive based, and not just on first-year performance due to the incredible talent returning. This is one of those deals that a guy like BP should pay us to have next year.
Yep, I can go with that. Don't you think they would try to keep Muschamp, almost regardless of the coach (but especially w/ Petrineaux?)
Campbell was awful under Petrino's guidance. Borges is the one that got the most out of his talent this year.
Maybe if he's hired he can bring Brohm with him, even though he is a Louisville grad. http://uoflsports.collegesports.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/brohm_jeff00.html
