I'm saying it now...Pollack is over rated, and here's why!

    Tiger Lifer 3...

LSU may win this game, it's a pick 'em, and certainly has the best offense UGA has faced this year to date, but I seriously doubt it will be by an 38-27 score.

In the 29 games Brian Van Gorder has been DC at Georgia, no team, including run it up Spurrier, has scored 30 points on his defense. In 3 games this season, UGA has given up 17 points, and the 2 TDs came during garbage time.

Last year, it went like this in opposition scoring:

    Clemson 28
    Bama 25
    Kentucky 24
    Auburn 21
    Florida 20
    Ole Miss 17
    Vandy 17
    Tennessee 13
    FSU 13
    South Carolina 7
    Georgia Tech 7
    NW State 7

In 2001, 5 teams scored 20-29, the rest were held to 17 or less.

Somebody is bound to hang 30 on Van Gorder one of these days, but it hasn't happened yet.

    Is TE the village comedian?

Is this "kittyuneducated" some self-pronounced College Football savant or did he simply stay at a 'Holiday Inn Express'?

Dude, you are most certainly entitled to your opinion, but I do hope you realize that your take on the reigning SEC Player of the Year, Mr. David Pollack to you, is one of such a minority as to merit its own, distinct catagory.

Just one NFL scout's take on Super Dave: "Defensively, David Pollack is slated for stardom as he’s a relentless pass rusher with great tenacity and football intelligence. Pollack is explosive, fast yet deceptively strong. Rarely off his feet, Pollack makes plays sideline-to-sideline either disrupting the offense in the backfield, chasing down ball carriers, or dropping off the line into pass coverage. He could easily be classified as an "impact defensive player" and if teams are willing to overlook his 6-2 frame, Pollack will be a very early pick when he enters the draft."

Bad part for LSU is that he is but one aspect of a Defense that is unlike any your team has faced in several seasons. It will be a glorious battle come Saturday, have your team very, very ready!

    These linebackers are a little heavier. ( 220 - 225 )

But they are the fastest group of linebackers that Georgia has ever put on a field.

I have to think that Richt recruited these guys with the FSU philosophy in mind. Get to the ball fast and swarm.

It is real tough to turn the corners on this group.

TE, just a little FYI, the person Jeremy Shockey called out was TL3 but he inadvertently said Bill Parcells. What's even more telling of TL3 is he chimes in as quoted above then a few posts down says, "Educated You need to chill out. You don't have to dog everyone out just for making points." Ever hear the word HYPOCRITE, TL3? Now that's calling the kettle black! I've had trouble w/ this mo-mo from day 1 when he tried calling me out on wareaglenation.com and in this forum too. Thing is, he's just doesn't know and he'll never get it.

A little more FYI, you're not on the Lair anymore, so sarcasm is unrecognized and skin is not thick.

Georgia has a fast, smart, strong defense.

This is how Nick will deal with it. Balance, no tendencies, spread the ball all over the field, execute the plays, no turnovers.

LSU will run the pitch both inside and outside. They will throw passes long, short, screen, and in the flat. LSU will run the option out of the pro set as well as the dropback pass. LSU will use the shotgun and may run or throw out of it. LSU runs counters, traps, and reverses. And yes . . . LSU will handoff and pound it between the tackles for yardage.
