Yeah...even when we were getting blown out by Florida in Spurriers last year, LSUterril said "That was the best game LSU has ever played. Man we played awesome..."
I didn't post negatively for Florida. I just didn't post. Went into the "hole". I was a little pissed at the perceived lack of effort, though.
My draft post after UF was highly negative, but I needed to vent. I wrote it, walked away from it, came back, edited it, then SUBMITTED it to the forum. I could have been banned for some of the crap that flowed across my keyboard. BUT, I went back and took out all the names to protect the innocent. For some, the quality of our life has a direct correlation to LSU football performance. A bad day on the field can wreck a the day after. These boards support the healing process, and all of us who live, breathe, eat, sleep, etc. LSU football can vent for 24-hours, and then refocus on the next week... Its not so much fairweather, as it has now become expectation to win. We all expect LSU to win. And if they don't win, then we better not lose by more than 1. I can take getting beaten by a good team by 1 when we play well then playing poorly and getting beaten down.
We may have different opinions on things and some of the opinions may be just plain wrong, but in the end we all cheer for the same team come Saturday night. Go Tigers. Oh yeah, also.... DID YOU JUST WRITE A NEGATIVE POST BASHING NEGATIVE POSTS?
Yep looked that way to me. I don't always agree with negative posts(right captainpodnuh ), but dude all of these guys are just as big LSU fans as you are. Alot of us have been here awhile and figured out that negativity may have a little reality mixed in it sometimes. Slow down and don't slam other tiger faithful before you get to know them!! 1. Negative posts annoy everybody at times, but this is a forum for discussion and everybody is entitled to an opinion. If you get too negative you will be flamed or even "ramahed". So be it. 2. On the other hand, single-digit posters who come on board just to start shaking their finger at people for not being "true Tiger fans" are just full of crap. One needs to earn some credentials with his own posts first.
