I'll tell you what I'm tired of, I'm tired of LSU getting anally raped by the refs! I'm glad I recorded this on my DVR, so I can review the blown calls, the bias calls and the general lack of proficiency shown by this officiating crew. And it just wasn't this crew, I watched the Ark-Vandy game, same thing, only not as bad. All that being said, we had our chances but bad play calling on offense didn't help us, plus the 3-and-outs leading to the defense having to come back on the field really hurt us.

been thinking about this all night. why not let them review the PI call in question? they obviously saw a PI so the judgement part of the play was out of it. what was in question was if the ball was tipped before the infraction which replay's clearly show it wasnt.

i know they are not allowed to, but why not in this case?

EDIT: just remembered they reviewed a play like this in the OU game. they reviewed to see if the ball was tipped or not. why not review when it was tipped?

i concur. you cant beat everybody by 42 and during teh times you do struggle, you surely dont need the refs against you also.

I retract my statement made earlier this week in which I said Vaugh would recieve code red's if he continued to miss kicks. The ref's need some Code Red's a lot more than Vaugh.

This game is already going to be called a classic. However, for the second time in 3 years, the officiating took an even better game from the fans. The non call in the 1st half, that drive may (or may not) have produced a TD. That means tie game (eventually) 7-7. Which would mean LSU would probably have kicked a field goal instead of going for it on the Doucet non-call drive. However there was still enough time on the clock for Auburn to make a drive. Possibly attempting a game-tieing kick. THAT would have been amazing to watch after the way last years game ended. This game had over-time thriller written all over it, but instead we got to watch a group of refs have a huge impact on the outcome. Just like the '04 Auburn game. Fans everywhere should have gotten a chance to see that game go to OT. America deserved to see this game called as evenly as possible. This could very easily have been another OT game. I think America deserved that, and we all got robbed of watching what could have gone down as the best football game played by anyone this decade.
