    Thursday's scrimmage (2nd scrimmage of fall practice)

    Zach Mettenberger connected on 15-of-26 passes for 170 yards, five touchdowns and just one interception. Three of Mettenberger's touchdown passes came during the redzone portion of the scrimmage with one going to Odell Beckham Jr. for 15 yards, one to [TE] Nic Jacobs for 15 yards and the other to [TE] Chase Clement for 15 yards.

    Backup quarterback Stephen Rivers completed 8-of-15 passes for 70 yards leading the No. 2 offense.

    The Tigers rushed for 300 yards during the 120-play workout with Kenny Hilliard (100 yards on 17 carries) and Alfred Blue (106 yards on 13 carries) leading the way.

    Beckham Jr. led all receivers with five catches for 62 yards, while four other players each caught two passes.

    --Miles: Mettenberger was 26-36 for 336 yards and a number of TDs. Hilliard had 11 rushes, 67 yards, 3 TDs. Blue 6-70-2 TDs.

    --Coach Miles: Odell Beckham Jr. had 4 catches for 100 yards and James Wright had 4 catches for 60 yards and a TD.

    --Eric Reid had a nice pick today.

    In the Spring game, Mett threw for how many yards. In the scrimmage today he hit 336 yds. How many times did we throw for over 300 yds. last year in a game? None. 225yds. vs NW st. thats it. Teams will have to defend the field.
