Rick Clausen is going to look like the second coming of Peyton Manning if this clown doesn't get with it. Anybody started www.BOMUSTGO.com yet?

I personally believe that the defensive schemes & play calling was more to blame than the execution. Having said that, out linebackers can't cover their tight ends.

Look Bubba Bong Head you may have seen the next John Elway play saturday night but I saw a soft defense that played right into his hands.

There's no real way to tell just how good Keller is because if you will remember, the Pelini (er Tepper) d made qbs like Quincy Carter look like Heisman contenders.

 Poor Bubba! Can't get a grip!

Hey Bubba! who scored 63 on Temple?

    Answer: ASU

Who else scored more than 63 on Temple the week after ASU did?

Answer: Wisconsin. Is anyone screaming about how good Wisconsin's QB is? No.

Kellar shredded a NEW STYLE OF LSU DEE, ONE THAT WON'T ****ING WORK. Get a drill and drill it into that thick skull of yours or repeat after me ...

Pelini's scheme sux (Say this 50 times).

As I've said on other topics, it was the defense scheme and coaching that was at fault. Sam Keller was making his 3rd start and you know they live on passing alone. Therefore the gameplan from the start should've been to put pressure on him, bump the WR's at the line to throw the timing off, and switch up your blitzing schemes. This way you force Keller to try and read the defense and he will misread quite a bit b/c of his experience level, he doesn't know where the blitz will come from, you throw his timing off, etc etc. This kid was a rookie, you go after him. Shake his confidence.

Instead, Pellini gives the same look everytime it seems like. Rush 4, drop the LB's back into zone and give the WR's 10 yards off the line. I can understand the mentality of this scheme but after they make swiss cheese of you defense you better change something. I am not impressed with his defense. It actually boggles my mind how a coach can stay with the same game plan after getting hammered.

Sam Keller is a good passer but when you know what the defense is going to do every play and they are not getting any pressure on you in the pocket and the WR's have 10 yard cushions, it is much much easier to look good. Yes he is accurate but he is not great.

If you remember, I posted a topic "LSU's Defense" http://www.tigerforums.com/showthread.php?t=30148 in which I showed concern over LSU's defense considering the past performance of Pellini at OU. Many of you said there was nothing to worry about. Well I contend there is a lot to worry about with BO if he doesn't change this scheme and learn to make adjustments.

    Your assessment was spot on!

LSU will get HORSED in SEC play against really tough defensive teams that can score a few points.

IT'S EMERGENCY TIME FOR LSU FB. 2 weeks to cure it's ills. Grateful for an open week. Will pray someone shows some sense and admits their crappy schemes WON'T WORK.

Actually I think the defensive scheme was brilliant! It made the quarterback throw so much that it tired him and the receivers out at the end.

Let's all back up and regroup....Defense had a terrible night. Maybe they read the press clippings, maybe they read TigerForums.com and believed that this was going to be an easy game, maybe Bo P. was hung over all week, maybe a hurricane blew away the Gulf Coast and they got a little distracted.....I don't know, but I do know this....the Tigers showed TREMENDOUS heart and desire to overcome an away game at a top opponent. You don't think ASU's that good? Too bad. On Saturday night they were. Ask Michigan or Iowa or the St. Louis Rams or any of the other teams that should have won but didn't. LSU won the game when ASU was unable to score when it counted. HAT'S OFF TO THE TIGERS!!! Instead of all the bitching and whining, offer constructive solutions to the defensive shortfall Sat. night.Of course, you can't use the special HindSight 2005 20/20 glasses you picked up at Wal-Mart either. (BTW, LSU players don't suck. It pis$es me off when a "fan" says that.) Any coach will tell you that to win a game, offense, defense and special teams need to play well. 2 of the 3 did, and that's the mark of a good team. C'mon Tiger fans!! Act like you've been there before!! (well, that sounded good anyway) I guess what i'm trying to say is this....IF THIS HAPPENS IN THE UT GAME THEN I'LL BE IN THE FRONT ROW WITH A ROCK READY TO STONE BO. But until then, give him the opportunity to get it right. :geauxtige

Sam Keller will never play in the NFL Red. You give too much credit to a guy that lit us up.......not the Ravens. I mean c'mon. This guyw asn't even starting for ASU last year until the end of the season.

He has a weak weak arm and will never play in THE league.

That being said, all I wanted was to get out of there with a win. No we can move on and hopefully somebody will get the corners to touch a receiver prior to him catching the ball. I mean bump and run........
