The only problem with that statement is how you are ranked in the beginning can greatly affect how you are ranked at the end. Did LSU pass USC when they lost to CAL even though LSU was undefeated at the time?

Actually, I believe we did pass them. We just got passed back up when we lost to Florida.

Especially preseason #1 in SI. Please, please, please, SI; put USC on your preview cover as preseason favorite.

Where is this preseason poll at? In the magazine, or on the website? I have yet to find it.

Dark Hornet, its in the magazine with JV on the cover. I am now glad that we are 5th because if we were #1 or #2, everyone would make the players feel like they are Gods. Like what everyone says, its what matters at the end. That does set up a real big game up in Athens against UGA. If we are both in the Top 5, GameDay will most likely be there. It's great to be a Tiger!

It doesn't matter. I do think we are underrated, but we have 11 games next year to worry about, not the polls. If we win 10 of those 11, we are in the Orange, assuming there are not two undefeated teams from major conferences ahead of us. However, one also has to note that the regular season schedule is much more difficult than this year. The road games are all difficult games.

At Florida - our last win in Gainesville before 2002 was 1986!
At Auburn - we have lost our last two at Auburn by a combined 41 points!
At Georgia - we have lost our last two games there as well
At Arkansas - we have lost our last three games at Arkansas.
