The margin wasn't that big. And Virginia has gone Democrat the last 4 out of 5 elections. Oh yea they also went for Hillary.
The margin was 9 points. It's a blowout. Also, it looks like the Virginia House of Delegates has flipped from 66-34 Republican to 51-49 Democratic... flipped 17 seats.
Southern Virginia up to and including Richmond (where Rex lives) is very conservative. Unfortunately the northern Virginia area has a huge population of people who make their living sucking the Washinton tit.
Richmond is not conservative. We have a new black mayor who wants to take down all these disgusting Confederate monuments. And it looks like Norfolk and Virginia Beach went big for the Democrats tonight, too.
