from foreign governments during his term. That doesn't include the $600 million paid to Ivanka and Jared by foreign governments for various "services", nor, obviously, the $2 BILLION paid by Saudi Arabia to Jared. https://newrepublic.com/article/178...ments-senate-democrats-investigate-emoluments
hotels are not free. trump is not required to let people stay there for free at his expense. case closed.
Joe Biden has not in any way violated the Constitution's emoluments clause. Republicans have been trying for many months now to tie something crooked on him... it's a no go. Embarrassing for them that Joe Biden is non-corrupt, as opposed to the traitorous orange crook. And, oh, by the way... where's that binder of top secret intelligence McCarthy took at trump's direction?
Emoluments clause of the Constitution: "[no office of the United States shall] without the consent of the Congress, accept of any present, emolument, office, or title, of any kind whatever, from any king, prince, or foreign state." Two Federal appeals courts ruled that citizen suits filed against trump for violating the Constitution by profiting from renting his hotels and properties to foreign governments could proceed... meaning a fair likelihood of fvorable verdict... but the corrupt US Supreme Court finally ruled in January 2021, after trump left office, that the cases were now "moot". Accepting gifts, titles, profits of any kind from a foreign government while serving as the president of the USA is constitutionally ILLEGAL.
I am generally about 48 hours ahead of Rex on twitter. I predict the next thing he posts will be about Stefanik not condemning trump as a racist. its making the rounds now on liberal twitter.
turns out this binder was taken by the govt to keep secret they were spying on the trump campaign. that's why they raid mar a Lago, which started this stupid classified documents case, which resulted in Biden aand pence revealed to also have classified info. everyone does. its not a big deal. https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2024/feb/14/missing-binder-at-center-of-new-claim-that-cia-dru/
