No clue on names of refs. I do recall the official in question back then had a ginormous black moustache.
Re: Wake Up Call For SEC Officials Well, this is unprecedented. Finally the SEC makes an officials suspension public. Who are they going replace them with? A cobbled together team of substitutes? I'd hate to be playing in that game.
Re: Wake Up Call For SEC Officials Agreed, part of me hopes this is the first step toward upholding some standards for officiating in the league. The more rational part of me says it's just an aberration and we'll be back to business as usual in no time.
Re: Wake Up Call For SEC Officials Cowherd had a Georgia fan on this morning who was saying, in not so many words, that LSU has learned to pay off the officials to win games. Cowherd called the guy bat sh!t crazy.

Slive publicly states before the Ark-UF game that the SEC "needs UF to win" due to the BCS system, .... then the refs go out and make sure it happens ...... and then Slive suspends them because they were too obvious about it. I mean how could they miss that? It wasn't even subtle.:angry:
