:dis: INGRAM LEAVES: Saban announced that redshirt freshman linebacker Darius Ingram has left the team. "He's a fine young man," Saban said, "a great guy in our program. We really didn't want him to leave because of the kind of person he was. But he's very close to his family and he really wanted to get closer to home for personal reasons." Ingram is a native of Tenaha, Texas. Saban didn't say if he will transfer to another school. "We certainly wish him well wherever he goes," Saban said.
No big deal it will continue to happen every now and then. Sometimes they just feel that they don't fit in here or that there is too much competition at their position to overcome. Either way I wish him luck and look forward to seeing Saban add another quality recruit to take his scholarship. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:
I'm not trying to make light of the kid but I remember reading during recruiting season that he almost didnt come to LSU because of the drive across the Mississippi river bridge. I guess it made him nervous or something.
If Saban gives his scholly to a senior this year it should, but if he gives it to someone coming back next year it will not.
I think that scholarships are for 1 year at a time, so it does not matter if Saban gives an available scholarship to a serior or an underclassman.
