D: Fundamentals looked better. They tackled MUCH MUCH better and had some attitude. Scheme was so so and still had some communication issues which lead to TD's that are, IMO 100% preventable. No reason LSU should NOT of held MSU to 10 or less based on what I saw. just a few costly mental lapses. Overall, getting better each game. O: Looks the same. Gonna hold us back.
@LSUpride123 D played prevent defense most of the game. No one should be surprised we gave up a flurry of late points; that's what prevent defense does. O will continue to be held back by the offensive line, but we need to find a rhythm in our pass game. I don't know if our receivers don't get open or Max hesitates to pull the trigger, but he seems to take forever to get rid of the ball.
It’s a good season to be rebuilding (a.k.a. suck) because I would hate to have our season spoiled by either Arkansas or Ole Miss. They both look pretty good this year.
Hardly anyone will hold Moo U to less than 10 not even Bama. The defensive scheme was solid make them drive the length of the field. Still too many defensive breakdowns. If we didn't have that today we may have had a chance to keep them from scoring over 10.
Total Defense: before MSU 896 yards allowed, 298 yards per game allowed. After MSU, 1382 yards allowed, 345.5 yards per game allowed. Rushing dropped from 85.7 per game to 80 yards a game.
Oklahoma barely beat Tulane yet Ole Miss killed Tulane guess the OK coach should be fired. Guess you don't like your opinion challenged. You open a thread but dissent is not allowed. You shut up.
We don't seem to have an a team identity at all. We depend on Big plays mostly. (Boutte) He'll get his yards.
