well...this sucks, but this is a position we have depth at.

AB will rehab, get a medical redshirt and be back for 2006 (if he truly is gone for the season).

JV may be getting another shot to prove himself after last year's dismal performance. Addai is what he is, and will be gritty gritty every play.

one name to remember should the RB position faulter this year after this injury....Barrington Edwards.

This opens the door for Antonio Robinson...

If I know Antonio like I think I do, he would kick that door down if they knocked on it for him to play...

That dude is ALWAYS chomping at the bit for competition

Exactly. Opportunitys came his way once, let's see if he recognizes this second chance to "step up" and prove he is a top level Div 1 LSU football running back.
I think he is, time will tell.

It will not only help LSU but his career as a football player over all.

Whether he was goofing off in bars or not, there is no doubt the time is now to re-establish a spot in Tiger football history and add to the legacy.

This sucks big time, no doubt about it. But it's not the end of the world. It's a great opportunity for Addai to show what he's go (Heisman hopeful), and JV and Carey to step it up.

The silver lining is this could give us one good year w/ Broussard and Perriloux together. Call me crazy, but I'm thinking national championship. Don't flame me on that one, it's the one time I'm trying to be overly optimistic.

Rehab strong AB, come back even better next year.

I was thinking about the same silver lining. It should give the Tigers that experience back next year in a class where a lot of people will be gone or have the potential to be gone.

Oh this sucks! :cry:I personally am a little worried about his injury, since AB was supposed to play such a big role this year for us. We may be deep at RB, but AB could wear down defenses so well. Only time will tell.

Worst news possible. Even though we have depth at the position AB was set for a fantastic season. None of the rest of them are the type of back ab is.

Damn i hate getting star players hurt in practice. This is a mental blow to the team as well.

Well the rest will have to step up and produce.
