UF fans have already gotten themselves to the point that Urban Meyer is the best coach in the SEC bar none

When UF losses several games this year, it will be the players fault. Not his

I believe fl. will take tenn. and that actually plays to your favor. I believe tenn. will be in the position to lose 3 or 4 games this year. By the end of the season, beating them will not have meant as much. fl. will be a 1 or 2 loss team (LSU and maybe ga.) Media types will prop Myer as long as they can. 1 or 2 losses will hurt fl. less than tenn. The higher ranked the teams are that you play late will make more of an impact in the polls than a early ranked tenn.. If fl. only loses to LSU and ga., and you play ga. for the SEC you will have a very impressive schedule.

I am not wishing injury upon any player, but I do not see how Vince Young can take a beating like he did the other night and last the season. He has to be the QB for Texas to win and he is hit way too much. I see you passing UT at some point this season.

They took it so that some idiot fan couldn't take it and use it for evil pourposes. Honestly, i liked Zook and felt that if he had been given the proper time he could have done something. This win and win now crap in college is really starting to piss me off. Any time a coach or coordnator has a bad or off game you have 50 people having knee jerk reactions like the sky is falling.

Let me go on the record with this. I expect great things from Miles this year and beyond, but i do beleive that short of him just completly blowing it (i.e. losing season and/or horrible recruiting classes), we should definently keep him around long enough to let him use the players he recruited. I am completly against firing a coach based on performance after less than 5 years. I know, based on the reations to Saturday nights game that some of you would disagree with this and go sa far as too say that he should be fired if he does not win the west.

Yep, and often worse after five years. People should give coachs a few years IF they're reloading the roster, which can take a while if the program's been inept. It can take years to recruit solid talent if the program has been down. BUT, if the coach is going to a school loaded with talent, it shouldn't take more than one or two years to win.
