Not really...most SEC teams recruit home first. While there are a few brought in from other areas rosters are generally filled at home. You might take a few from the USC's of the world due to SEC membership but not enough to make a diff. Or it could be deny deny deny like USC, OSU and Ga Tech did...we see what happened there.
So then Oregon isn't head and shoulders above Boise St., Purdue, Utah, Arizona, Oregon St., or most recently Cal. Amirite? Thought so. . . (these are all teams that the quacks didn't beat handily over the past 2 years) Sometimes, it would really behoove you to think about what you say before you actually say it. Using the "close game" approach to evaluating a team is extremely naive.
It's possible. I'm not "In the know" on the situation withing the AD. I'm only going by what "The Cleaner's" M.O. has been in other major violations situation. All Oregon can do is play football at the point. The crappy thing about the whole deal, is the Seastrunk is the 4th string RB at this point. The way camp is going right now, He may drop to 5th by the end of camp. All this fuss over a guy who might not even see the field much for another year...maybe more.
Well, we were going back and forth between first games, and playing lower level teams. I was commenting on the first games of the season. Oregon wasn't ready for the Boise game. They were reading their press clipping to much, and thought they could roll in and take care of business. They got beat. The 4 new O-linemen were the issue in that game. I get what you're saying though. I can't have it both ways, right? Thanks for calling me on it.
