    I travel through Los Angeles every week. I would seriously consider that international travel, and a threat to one's soul.

    It really isn't as expensive as you might think. With careful planning, it is doable. For instance, she stayed at an ashram in India for 6 weeks studying yoga. Her accommodations, 3 hours per day of yoga, meditation, etc, etc, plus 3 meals per day, only cost $15/day. Kids know how to find deals if they have a budget and want to stretch it as far as possible.

    Still $450 a month which is cheap but still have food and oh yeah, air fare and that ain't cheap at all

    Nah. She just wanted to learn yoga in the birthplace of yoga. When you have a year and a half, you can slow down and appreciate things for what they are.

    Overheard at lunch today..."it is so weird hearing so many people speaking English!".
