    Penn State - Joe Pa.

Look at some of the Big Name teams and Big Name coaches Miles has beaten in his 5 years at LSU:

    Miami, FL
    Notre Dame - Charlie Wiess
    Ohio State - Jim Tressel
    Georgia Tech
    Virginia Tech - Frank Beamer
    Florida - Urban Meyer
    Alabama - Nick Saban
    Arizona State
    Washington
    Georgia -Mark Richt
    Tennessee - Phil Fullmer
    South Carolina - Steve Spurrier
    Arizona

The list goes on and on.

Adding Penn State and Joe Pa would sure look good.

As a Tigerfan living in Pa, I'd love to see LSU play PennState. I'd rather play Pitt as I think they have the better team. PennState does have a helluva program, it'll be a good game.

I'd like to see Penn St. Nothing against Iowa but PS has more prestige with Joe Pa and tradition. Also my daughter has a friend who she went to school with whose Mom worked in the ASU admin. They moved because she got an offer she couldn't refuse from Penn St where she graduated from to do the same job. I'd get their email address from my daughter and start trying to get a bet together. Money talks!:)

    Better how? Just curious

I think I'd like Penn St just because they're a bigger name.

I have a higher up in my office that is from Iowa and has posters on his wall of the LSU defeat. He is not obnoxious though and supports LSU as well.

maybe it is just me, but i'd rather play the weaker team. the way LSU is playing right now I'd rather get a sure win. offensively, we're second to last in the SEC during a down-year for the conference. i don't think we can really blow anyone out. i'm not doubting the team, but i'd rather get to ten wins than trying to beat a program on the rise.

JayB, this time last year, people were crying about how foolish GT was going to make us look. Our team this year isn't nearly as beaten down as last year's. I'm not worried about anyone we'd play in a bowl. We'll beat 'em down.

More interest mainly. We have a recent history with Iowa, we don't with Penn State. I also like Iowa's style of Big-10 football, what little I've seen of it. I imagine that Iowa fans will travel to the game better, too.
