Someone asked this question earlier. Took a while, but here is some info: Iowa scored 83 points off of 31 turnovers. 55 of the 88 were in the last six games. Iowa's last 6 opponents failed to score any points off Iowa turnovers, including 3 in the last two games inside the Iowa 35. Iowa did not lose a fumble in their last four games. Iowa forced 20 turnovers in their last four games. Iowa scored on 38 of 47 attempts in the red zone, with four of the failed conversions coming as they were running out the clock at game's end. It is an Iowa tradition to start each game on offense. The Hawks have received the opening kick-off in 62 of their last 66 games. Iowa is 26-2 when wearing black jerseys since the 2001 season.

LSU ranked #3 in Total Defense Iowa ranked #103 in Total Offense LSU allowed only 249 yards/game average this season Iowa gained only 310 yards/game average this season LSU is 42-0 (Dating back to '98) when scoring 25 or more points. LSU is 5th in Kickoff Return defense LSU is 7th in Punt Return defense LSU hasn't lost a game since '98 when a running back has over 100 yards net rushing.

Well Hawker, as for myself, you will hear no such things... I don't believe in excuses. If Iowa happens to come out and totally dominate LSU, I'll be there to congratulate you and your team and admit you kicked our arses... I'm big enough of a man to call things like they are and eat some crow when I have to.... But know that I will also serve it up with a vengance to others when necessary. P.S. - You guys seem to be a bit pre-occupied with the whole Gators thing. You should start preparing for the Tigers rather than re-living the past.
The Gators loaded our boards with trash talk last year... but, you're right... old memory. However, seeing that I live in Gator Country, the win was sweet.... as was your'e down there this year. Obviously, I hope we win. We seem to go unnoticed each year by the power press... and a win over the former NC's would be a boost for us.
Oh... and MarineTiger, you can count me out on that one. There's enough cryin' over spilled milk on this forum for both coaches. Some of our fans can just copy and paste.
