Eddie Kines, a Piedmont resident and family member of Joe Kines, has been coming to Alabama football games for 40 years. Over the last 15 years, he has been a strong advocate for these changes. "I remember when Coach Bryant was here; our fans didn't act this way. We came to the games, sure, we might drink one or two cold ones before hand, but we didn't get drunk, and we certainly didn't cause problems in the stadium. We just liked to come in, watch some good football and contribute to the atmosphere. That is Alabama football.

I confess, I went to Bama while Coach Bryant was there and I drank before, during and after most games. But I'm a happy drunk, I never poured my drink down the back of anyone's collar.

I don't have any problem with any of the dress codes except the Nike code. If someone is stopped from entering the stadium because they are wearing a Russell jersey, look for a law suit.

auburn people suck (except a couple here) and im glad i didnt tell the d bag that was putting diesel into his gas boat today named "butt naked'' that he was an idiot. dont care...actually not sure what thread im putting this in. needed to fill my "i hate auburn " quota for the month. stupid barners. going to eat boiled shrimp and get wasted at florabama. bye

I didn't know the answer, and it looks like no one else does either. There are two stories out there. One story is that the original is "butt naked" and that "buck naked" is either a euphemism or a mishearing. The other story is the same, with the roles reversed.
The American Heritage Dictionary has an entry for "buck naked" whose etymology field says
buck- (perhaps alteration of butt) + naked.
The AHD's entry for "bare naked" adds more information in a regional note:

So which is "right" and which is "wrong"? That question can be interpreted to mean "which is the standard expression?" In this case, there's no clear answer. The question can also be interpreted to mean "which is the original expression?" There's no clear answer to that one either, though if the origins are really in the 1920s, someone may find some evidence eventually. The question can alternatively be interpreted to mean "which expression will make people think I've made a mistake, or will offend them for some other reason?" The answer to that one is "both, depending on the audience and the context". So you might as well do what comes naturally

Pretty funny...There are some things here in Tuscaloosa that I think should be banned though. The "GOT SABAN?" shirts are pathetic and even worse, they have "S The Coach" stickers on bumpers and rear windows of cars. That is the most annoying thing I have ever seen. Each time I see one, I am embarrassed to be an Alabama fan....l
