Tiger Fans are not exempt here.

I remember vehemently being in Tiger Stadium and hearing thousands of "boo birds" give it to Lou Tepper as he walked off the field after we made some 2nd string quarterback look like a Heisman Trophy candidate. My favorite was the student with the poster that said "F U Lou".

I guess that's different than booing the team, but this thread made me remember that night.

Curly Hallman caught a lot of booing. But the team itself wasn't booed all that much. Six straight losing seasons make for a hostile crowd.

    Pro teams=yes

    college teams=no

Note I have never booed my own team college or pro. But I don't look down on fans who boo pro teams like I do fans that boo college teams.

Given UTEP's recent history, he ought to be carrying Mike Price off the field on his shoulders.

The only time you should be ALLOWED to boo is when Josh Booty is the quarterback.

Every fan has the right to boo.

Similarly, every fan has the right to be a complete idiot degenerate knucklehead.

I've got no problem w/ people booing the pros, as most of you have already stated. But booing kids that are playing for (virtually) free is about as low class and dumb as you can get.

No, but yelling quite loudly and cursing up a blue streak that would make a sailor blush is quite acceptable and understandable.

Rumor has it someone---not naming names---threw one and then the other sandal at his television two Saturdays ago as Mr. Kellor sailed past the 400 yard mark in the second half.

    Can't imagine who...
