When he has the talent he doesn't know how to manage it. It sure seems that way. I'd say for all of his weird ways, I loved Dale Brown as the LSU coach.

Beating these youngsters into the ground is not the answer.

Do you mean - gets less out of more talent?

    quote

he has instilled a defeatist attitude in these kids. instead of saying that we'll go to war with what we got and give it our best, he basically gives up the chances of winning with that lame attitide...

I agree with this quote, John Brady needs a change of attitude.

Thats the difference between Brady and Brown...

    Also....
the difference in Dale Brown and John Brady is.......

Dale Browns team never had a defeated attitude or made excuses for injuries or why they lost.

They always went to war and was the underdog but I don't believe the year his team beat Georgetown was this talented
    per person.....

CJ was the 1 and only for the most part...

John Brady and some fans around here use every excuse in the
world for this team not playing as a team and playing horribly
    offensively and inconsistantcy.

I will wait until this season is over to judge Brady. He should make the NCAA tourney. If he gets into the rgionals, that would be graet. If not, he will ahve to build for next year. We won't have Loreda next year.

god help us if we play a Big Ten team.

anyone remember Purdue and Wisconsin. Neither were very good but too physical for us to match up against. Brady has yet to recruit guys that can knock heads around. Hopefully, Glenn Davis will fix this next year

I don't think that's reasonable just for the fact that our best team under Brady was our most talented... Stromile Swift, Jabari Smith, etc... whereas one of Brown's best teams ('86 Final Four) was made up of a bunch of overacheivers inflated on Brown's motivational speeches and pure heart.

so I think it is definitely something else.
