No. The virus is after the unhealthy and elderly.

I would say knowing what we know now, we would have been better off just having those people quarantine and not the entire country.

How is his response been bad? And if you have examples of it being bad, please say what should have been done better. Please.

I am kind of disappointed in Abbott with this - am not sure he is making wise decisions.

well you might, because the local hospital sucks and only has a few beds. if three grandpas get it all at once and your town has two ventilator that might suck.

Montana only has 200 cases as a state, but nothing is without risks. Like access to health care when you live in the sticks.

The media should absolutely stop spreading hysteria. To make matters worse its inaccurate hysteria. They are listing almost anything as a covid death. Its trash.

It is pandering and it creates conflicting messages. People aren't going to churches right now but Abbott wants the appearance that he is on the side of people going to churches. Our leaders just can't say it. It is like Fonzie trying to apologize but can't get the word "sorry" out of his mouth. (remember that). He will eventually have to exclude that from his list. Baby steps...

It is like last week when The Collin County Judge issued a stay at home order last week. Only go to essential places. Then he said all businesses are essential. Confusing as hell. That made McKinney and Frisco have to issue shelter in place ordinances of their own. Then a guy sued the mayor of McKinney because his order were stricter than the county order. It is a joke. Now, the county is on the right page and has a coherent order resembling Abbot's and every other county in the metroplex.

My point is that “only posing a risk to others” is not alone justification to impose measures to limit freedom. Was speaking in a more general sense.

    degree of risk?

it can’t be a binary choice. in theory, sure but in practical application?
