I don't know about foreign countries but if you drive around the USA every city will have the same chain stores and fast food chains with a few exceptions. I wish they would open a Taco Bueno. Much better than Taco Hell and with a fixin's bar with real salsa instead of those little packets. I ate at a Leto's in Maryland. Pizza that tastes a lot like Fleur de Lis and they have locations on the east coast all the way down to Florida

Seems like everyone ran outta complaints and started turning on where to or not to live. Interesting development. Carry on
I agree that I have found things to enjoy in the 20 or so countries I have been to. But i dont agree that a larger city equals better. I enjoy the peace and quite I have when I return to my place.
I know a guy that was in Italy when this shit was running wild there. I don't even know how he got out of there, he didn't get it.
Do you live not too far from Houston? It's ideal to live in the country but have easy access to all the things there are to do in a big city.
Amen Bro. I am in the perfect place. I live in the sticks, but the sticks is just 15 minutes away from Conway, and just 35 minutes from Little Rock. Granted, nothing in AR is comparable to a Dallas, New Orleans or Houston, heck each of those cities have more people than the whole State of AR. But I do like the peace and quiet. I go back to visit The fam in Plano a few times a year. About three days is all I can handle.
