So Trump says at the Tulsa rally,"If you expand testing, you'll find more cases. So I said, let's slow down testing." MSM had a fit, and Trump said it was a joke, which of course, they didn't accept. (Whether its a funny joke or not is a personal choice) Just now, both Dr. Fauci and Dr. Redfield(?) testified before Congress that they have never been ordered, by the president or anyone, to slow down testing.

People I know are starting to drop out now. Not anyone I have been in contact with yet but people who work in my building, friend's parents and also their grown kids (young adults). It was just a news story but now, its getting closer. Like 5x closer. I was all out and about; going to the beach, having people over for crawfish, even going to see my folks in La.

Maybe it is time for me and my family to start hunkering down again.

NC just made masks mandatory . . . sort of. If stores allow an unmask shopper they can be fined. If a person refuses to don a mask, that person can be prosecuted for trespassing. Bars and Gyms still closed. Relook in 3 weeks.

Unfortunately, our cases are within a few of the max, and our hospitalizations are just a few below max.

we were out today for grocery pickup. I’d estimate of the people we saw less than 20% were wearing masks. That was before the pronouncement.

but this is the thing. It doesn't do what it wants to do. It does what we do. It does not exist without person to person contact. So, we control if we get it or not to a large degree. And man let me tell you, Texass has said we can go into school or virtual for our kids. I am all for in school. But that may change in a month. I am not all in yet.
