Yep a bit crabby today thought we won the game till I read this thread. PUMLEE IS A DYNAMIC PLAYER AND YOU CAN'T DESIGN A DEFENSE FOR A GUY WITH THAT KIND OF SPEED AND MAKES SHIT UP AS HE GOES.

We had a much much better defense then, apples and oranges pal. Besides Ole Miss's whole 2nd half offense was designed for Pumlee running

 

Did you happen to catch our bowl game the 2016 season? The one we played Heisman winner Lamar Jackson? We held him to 33 yards on 26 carries and zero touchdowns.

Pretty good game plan by Dave in that game.

For the record, I’m not putting all the blame on DA or saying he should get fired. I think our tackling last night, our shitty angles, over pursuit, struggle to set the edge at times and make tackles in open field are to blame. It was a half hearted effort by our defense.

Teams with much less talent on the field have done much more against OM and this running QB.

 

Pumlee had a great night we are 10-0 with Aranda as DC get over it enjoy the win.

Yeah, I get that, but just saying this kid is not gonna run for a heisman because suddenly no one can catch him. Forcing a kid like that to beat you with his arm is an actual strategy, yunno. You are giving this kid more credit for being good than our D for being bad.
