Is "Death Valley" now simply known as "The Valley"?

    they're talking about being sensitive to the current situation on campus.

    it will be death valley again once our emotional reaction subsides a bit.

    Yeah, no one actually died in Death Valley. In fact, I don't think refugees were sent there at all. And Death Valley did not kill anyone.

    The sign still does read:

    "Welcome to Death Valley"

    Until that is gone, it is still Death Valley to me

    I know what happened is horrible, but tradition is tradition...and Death Valley it will forever be known as to me.

    People need to get the f*ck over it (this issue that is)... Life goes on, there is too much talk in this country of ending traditions because someone might get offended.. boo f-n hoo... Death Valley... the Valley sounds like a place where woodland animals frolick and same-sex couples have picnics...
