Damn, I've been watching about 5 minutes and I've just seen 2 monster shots to go along with the 17 - 4 score...

I'm excited about this season, but you must remember it's early and we are playing UCF. Nevertheless, I think we'll easily lead the league in homers this year, and maybe the nation.

Nobody has a line up of Patterson, Harris, Stavinoha, Zeringue who can all hit for good power and average.

All that talk about Smoke not being the coach that Skip was was BS. Smoke Laval was the reason all those big Bombers were at LSU in the 90's.

HELL YEAH GORILA BALL IS COMING BACK TO THE BAYOU!!

Before yall start bombing ME I would like to say Skip Bertman is the Best College Baseball Coach of all time. But it was not just him Smoke was part of the reason LSU became the great progam it is.

It sure looked like it today I didn't see most of the homeruns b/c I was watching the basketball game but it seemed like everytime I checked in on the game another HR had been hit.

Don't ever expect to see the HR numbers like we put up in the late 90s ... the new bats just won't allow that to happen. 188 HRs in a season will never be seen again!

We hit 85 last year ... anything over 100 would be impressive.

But, I did have flashbacks to those Gorilla Ball days....
