I dig the pants Nick is wearing with the shirt!!! Some of the things he wears cracks me up but he's my favorite football coach of all time....... before Jimmy Johnson was my favorite and 1 reason was that he built a team and won a championship in both college and the pros. Barry Switzer doesn't count he won with JJ's team.
He smiled in the picture I took with him. But IMO it was fake because he had to take a picture with 1 or 200 people that day.
He seemed to be a genuine guy when you shake his hand and talk to him. If anybody gets a chance to go there during the football season I highly recommend it.
TRUE STORY: I was in town for the AU & Tech games. I went to the Superior Grill for Nick' radio show with my bro, his wife, & my wife. I was taping Nick from way back in the room and got up the gumption to ask for a pic with him. My bro followed with the camera, which was set to focus from the back of the room. Nick complied, the pic was taken, and you see the side of my face (I'm 6'4"), the top of Nick's head, and a PERFECT shot of the guy behind us. At this point I'm frustrated. I go over to the other side of the restaurant and grab my digital still camera, my bro in tow back to try AGAIN. Nick bolts off the stage and down the stairs for a commercial break, I reach out and shake his hand. I neglect to tell my brother there is a 1/2 second delay from when you press down the switch. I have a GREAT picture of my new coaches polo shirt. Nick was long gone - he was in a hurry. I was going to try for a third shot, but at that point I thought that Nick would probably think that a large strange man was stalking him, and I threw in the proverbial towel. I never did get my pic, but I shook his hand twice. He was quite the gentleman. He's dealt with guys my size his whole life.
Dude always wears good tops. We just GOTTA get him some new pants, though... Amen on the happy Saban, Geauxldy...
