Is it me, or has Les gained some reputation?

Miles got the number 7 recruiting class in the nation while many south Louisiana prospects were scattered about the country because of Katrina. That tells me plenty. I honestly doubt Saban could have pulled that one off. Really, I do.

I think this is absolutely crazy talk.
Les Miles is responsible for bringing in Bo Pelini who's defense didn't give up
a td for like 16 quarters, 1 td for last 18 quarters?

You would be crazy not to respect Les Miles for the way he represents himself
and what he has accomplished since he's been here.

I don't want to say this but I will, I have respect for Tubby also.
He has done an incredible job at AU the last 3 years or so.
I am very impressed with the job Muschamp has Auburn.
I really don't think anyone's defense could be any better than AU or LSU in
    all of division 1 football.
No way either team will face an equal defense this year!

well i do know les doesn't swear at his players even in the locker room. how the hell is that possible. this guy has more character in his little finger than most and its obvious in his professionalism on every level, especially how he treats the media and us peon fans who sometimes dont deserve it.

Im not sure whether he will end up being a top coach in the end but at this point I dont care. He's a man of good moral fiber and a total class act. something we could all seek to achieve not only at our jobs but in our everyday lives as well. Im certainly proud to have him as our coach for those reasons alone and hope the little coaching part works itself out.

and I look at it like this:

RP, LaFell, Woods, Scott, Keiland and Beckwith--all players that either are currently making an impact right now, OR are players that the vast majority of Tiger fans want to see on the field more.

As long as Miles keeps signing players the likes of those mentioned above, Auburn fans will be eating their words.

I think much more highly of Miles this season than I did last season, but I reserve the right to change my opinion on a dime.

Les has continued to bring in GREAT players that are having an impact now. Some of those boys out their right now are Les's Boys. I just watched the game last night and we have a young defense. We only had 3 seniors start Sat. Only 4 on offense. Yes, I am very happy with Les, we will continue to prosper under him.:crystal:

He's getting more respect on the other SEC boards. Last year it was all about how dumb he was because of his hat or some such foolishness and about how he is just coasting on Nick's players. Now they are beginning to back off on that stuff and give him some credit because its starting to look like he just might be delivering double-digit-winning seasons on a regular basis.

They did the same thing with Nick.

Some will never accept Les. If LSU had beaten Auburn, they would be quietly waiting for a loss. Look at Jimbo. How many games have we won with him at OC, but after every loss the bashers are out in force. A lot of people cannot accept the premise that you are not going to win every one of your games. Jimbo and Les did not stop our offense Saturday. Auburn did.
