Rome is such a homer IF that guy hadn't been from "So-Cal" and had been from the real South than I guarantee that Rome wouldn't have said the guy was smart and was correct. I can't stand the man.
Generally agreed. He makes some funny comments at times and actually his social commentary is usually on the mark more often than his sports takes... My favorite Rome comments were a few years back when Rob Johnnson & Doug Flutie were competing for the Bills QB spot. Rome made an @SS of himself by ripping Flutie because RJ was his "buddy" and fellow So Cal USC surfer dude. Where in the hell is Rob Johnson now? Its too bad he's such a So Cal homer. It really takes away from his game.
