LSU is not a university system . I think they mean to say that LSU has one campus at Baton Rouge, where as Texas, Tennessee, and the rest have other campuses in their system.

Actually LSU has campuses in New Orleans, Eunice, Shreveport and probably some other places. As far as I know it's a "University"

Yeah, I thought that, too. But thats the only thing I could think of. Maybe Emmert only deals with Baton Rouge, and those other guys handle all campuses?

  5. Emmert is the chancellor of LSU A&M College (LSU in Baton Rouge).

There is an LSU system, but William Jenkins (the South African guy) is the system president, not Emmert. Actually, I think Jenkins is leaving to go to Vermont or New Hampshire or something.

We have a new system president, but I can't remember who it is.

Don't forget about LSUAlexandria. They have 4 year programs, too.
