I think the only team ranked a head of us we'd have "problems" with would be Oregon. Only because of their quick no huddle, making it hard for us to get in substitutions as we like. But in the end, the result is the same as in Jerry World last Sept.
The Ducks don't play defense so I think Mett could throw for 250 yards, as well as our Running game racking up another 200. Final score i'd say LSU 34 Oregon 17.

But like in '06 I do think LSU is playing better ball than most teams in the Top 10.

Our D has dropped substantially, not sure we could stay with Oregon, though I am sure we would score a bunch. Miss State ran that short pass at will for 3 3/4's quarters. It was unstoppable. We are certainly a top echelon team, but objectively, we are not quite there, across the board, yet.

Oregon's OLine is undersized. LSU's Dline would run over them like they do all non-SEC teams.

    Yep .. I agree here.

LSU needs to step up its passing defense. Just think, if we would have covered the screen pass in the Bama Game, we'd be in the top seat of the SEC W, and possible playing for the crystal.

But .. it's all good. I'm enjoying watching the team play. Mett has arrived, just like I said he would before the Bama Game.

Florida. Once again, they would bore us to death. It's like watching us pre-Bama.

If Mett had woken up for Florida like he as the last two weeks that game would not have been close.
