This could top our 2003 class. I wish we had recruited another linebacker, but all-in-all, I think it has the makings of a great class. It should end up in the top 5, and perhaps the top 3.
Mike D on tigerbait was asked about us not getting any LBs, and he said we didn't need any this recruiting season and that everybody listed on the depth chart at LB can play right now. Definitely will need to get some major LBs in 08 however. Would be nice to land a high 4 or possibly even 5 star LB.

Well in all seriousness, after we receive all the great news on Wednesday, and the dominoes will be falling, this will be LSU's finest class ever.
Early on in the process, I believe he was recruited as a LB. After seeing him at camp as a RB, they told Ridley he would be our next Hester - a versatile FB.
Well someone from this class is gonna have to be moved to LB. You just can't go without any for an entire recruiting season. And it's not like we have tremendous depth to start with. Francois, Jones and Scott are all projected as possible LBs.
