We're all disappointed in the 5 losses this season. And I for one have been anxious to get this season over with. However, I've started viewing this Peach Bowl game as the beginning of the next phase of LSU football excellence - particularly considering the coaching hires and the recruiting success. So, is this game the end of a terrible season? Or the beginning of an amazing run? I vote beginning. And not just because I'm a purple sunglass wearing homer, either...
me too (beginning)...and me too (purple sunglass wearing homer) :lsup:LSU!:lsup:LSU!:lsup:LSU! :geauxtige:helmet::milesmic::helmet::geauxtige :lsup:LSU!:lsup:LSU!:lsup:LSU!
I can't say it is the beginning of an amazing run - I sure hope it is, but have no way of knowing that. To me, it is simply the end of a mediocre season, a way to go out on a positive note and build on, bring in new def. coaches, and the #1 recruiting class, and continue some positive forward direction. It is too much expectation to say otherwise.
I would have to wait 'til the game's over to decide. I would like to say it's a fresh start, but if we get our butts whipped then I'd not like to think of that as the start to a great run haha. I think we win a close game and it starts a new era.
is it to early to pack my car to be ready for the drive down for the first home game next season? :hihi:
Beginning. Remember the Miami and Notre Dame bowl games. Followed with some amazing runs I would say.
