Jacobs had some academic problems coming out of Napoleonville. And the sheer thought of a 6-4, 265 lb RB makes the fillings rattle. He's bigger than most FBs and LBs in the NFL. He runs with great balance for a man his size, and also is gaining pretty good vision while performing as the understudy to Tiki. Short of an injury, I expect him to be the starter for the NYG next season. The link to the old thread fills in most of the missing info.
Wyoming? Don't think we have played them since 2000. S. Illinois didn't play them either. I remember him having a run similar to this...was it the Vandy game?
I like all the smack Auburn fans talked about us being dumb and not signing BJ to a scholly, yet he left their team. :hihi: Ah, and to think that was when we won the NT... memories...
Jacobs will probably have a better NFL career than either of the three backs that started ahead of him at Auburn and SI.
