I'm not sure that you are understanding the point, I think more people than you realize paint bikers with a fairly broad brush and equate them with every bit of distrust, fear, and prejudice as they would the common "thug" just a different name.

if a see a band of greasy biker brothers on one side of the street late at night, im crossing over to the other side. done it quite a few times in new orleans, i recall, especially with a lovely female companion or small group of people headed in that direction. seems like the smart thing to do.

But that's not the point of the thread. The point of the thread was that the word thug is loosely thrown around sometimes when referring to black people, sometimes it is in fact substituted for the n word. I rarely if ever have heard any white criminal referred to as a thug.
