Is "thug" the new "n-word"?

    Well, you have been hearing it this week about white criminals called the Bandidos.

    I just don't see how thug can be considered a racist term when it is only applied to violent criminals. Have you ever hear Reverend Wright called a thug? How about Bill Cosby or Morgan Freeman? Or Obama or Louis Farrakhan? People only use it for violent criminals. And if the thugs happen to be black too damn often, then why is the black community defending what we call these people. They mostly prey on other black people. They are thugs and everybody knows it.

    Black people will not always be described in honorable and glowing terms. Neither will white people. We need to get used to that.

    That's not true. Tyrann Matheiu was called a thug a lot. Banditos are not all white either.

    I never heard The Honey Badger called the "T" word. And I always thought the Banditos was a Mexican biker gang.
