  1. You may be right because as recall putting him on ignore so I may not have been 100% aware of his presence. I thought he had been banned but I may be wrong. Red, 99 or another long time mod can probably answer that.

  2. It seems like I remember him too Nutriaitch, I think me and you joined right around the same time.
  3. he was a teller of tall tales and a buffoon. he won't be missed.
  4. Wasn't he the feller that took credit for starting the fire @ Auburn in '96?
  5. Very interesting and sad in a way. The SC Forum had a poster called Bunker Buster who claimed to be a WWII vet. Gave accounts of his time in Europe, fighting the enemy mano a mano. Always talking about what a great Trojan he was, even said he'd punched a Longhorn fan after the 2006 Rose Bowl at the ripe age of 86. He was thought of fondly in a crotchety sort of way but then he supposedly came down with pneumonia and was on his death bed in the hospital. Posters were asking to visit or help out, whatever. We've all come to realize that he was a fake........a phony........someone who had a laugh at other's compassionate expense. The internet is funny that way.

  6. true. it can bring out the best in people, or the worst in people. although, sadly, the worst is the best for some people.
  7. little known fact : 10% of the posters here are sourdoughman aliases.
  8. it was ramah's alcoholic friend who started the fire. he died a few years after that. the poor sob drove off a cliff..
  9. What was his name again? Marrero or something of that nature. Can anyone find that thread again?
