What if they keep Ensminger? On a scale of 1-10 One you are channeling Gandhi toking primo ganga Ten you are Saban with PMS and a tax audit - how pissed would you be? >discuss among yourselves<
No thanks get a real OC not a fill in. I keep thinking back to the game plan for the gumps and the gaytors. Also don't' know if things have changed but @bhelmLSU said they are walking the kiffin hire back as of about 30 mins ago
I'd be disappointed considering how lost we looked vs Bama, but the offense looked pretty dang sharp immediately after he took over. I still want a monumental hire, though. Didn't get it at head coach and the UF/Bama losses tarnished the Eaux/Ensminger duo.
He's going to go back to a positional coach. Doesn't want the pressure and lack of job security at this stage in his life that a high profile coordinator job at a power school brings. He gets a nice salary, can be close to his grandkids and coach for his alma mater as a positional coach which has a distinct luster.
Game plan had nothing to do with Bama loss didnt have the time nor the right guys on offense to score on Bama. As far as Fla we ran and passed them for over 400 yds 3 of our players blew the game.
The only other team shut out by Bama was Kent St. which says a lot about our offense. We were at home, got turnovers, and still couldn't put at least 3 points on the board....pretty sad. The teams that scored on Bama did not have better athletes than us, so it had to be something else.
I think the backlash would be severe. When you have a budget of around 2mil, you dont hire someone that doesn't even want to be an OC and hasn't been one in a decade. With that budget there are tons of candidates available. That doesn't even take into account the talent a potential OC would have the fact that O is a defensive coach and that OC at LSU would be a huge step up for many. O obviously wants Kiffin, but there will be no need to panic if Kiffy goes elsewhere.
