Let Lee finish this game because it would be unfair to Jefferson to throw him in against the #1 team in the nation.

But next week, it's Jefferson time. The Tigers have to start thinking about the future. Jarrett Lee ain't it. :tigereye:

    It is JJ time.
Ohio State threw TP in the game during the USC game.
JJ couldn't be any worse than Lee, I'd bet your paycheck on that one!

    Hey,
There is no need to redshirt this guy.
Its not like we aren't LSU and can't get a few top qb's every few years.
Just wait until next year when Russell Sheppard gets here!:tigereye:

With the game on the line, I don't see the change happening. Even if CLM is unhappy with Lee at the moment. If the game starts to get away from us, especially if Lee is at the center of that, then I might expect to see the change.

Give Jefferson a shot. He probably won't do any worse, and it would give the offense an extra dimension.

Why burn a redshirt on a game that can't win you the SEC West by itself?

If this were a game that would determine who plays in Atlanta, it might be worth it, but it isn't.

Uh, pride, Saban, competitiveness, have to win this game to be in the mix for a possibility to get to Atlanta, take your pick amongst the reasons to play JJ. Not to mention that picksixies are such emotional drainers for our team and the fans in the stadium. Plus, I have read others saying the redshirt thing is gone anyway, but I am not sure about that.

Exactly plus how does anyone know Bama won't lose to AU?
If we win this game and Au beats Bama we go to Atlanta.
Plus we beat the number 1 team in the country!
