UGA game was in the most part due to injuries in the defensive backfield... Webster and Daniels were both hobbled up and couldnt cover a grandmother with a walker... Iowa... got it there... UF 2k3 was an injury game... we had lost our top 2 runningbacks... Arkansas Meltdown... I put that on Matt Jones, not on Nick Saban... Bluegrass Miracle game.. again, injuries... If you want to blame anything in that season on saban its not pulling Matt Mauck at the end of the florida game.

I know coming in to the season people thought we were loaded like 03 but who on this team had the exp as 03 were is a player like clayton spears hill mauck and all the others that made that team so special. Who on this team has the exp that those players had they had been around and played together.
Tigerworld is right. This team is not like the team in 03. That team's best trait was their leadership and work ethic, having played with each other for a while. This team in 05 probably has more potential talent than the one in 03, but it's potential right now; not talent.
Just 11-12 days ago, Bill Parcells lost a game similar to this... With some dumb offensive calls, and poor defensive schemes... Yet, Dallas fans don't want his head do they?!
Ahhh expectations, we didnt have expectations against Florida ???? that year, Florida was reeling just like UT but came to our house and beat the tar off our Tigers. Like I said I am not a big Less Smiles fan right now, BUT I hope we dont suffer selective memory of our past with Saban. Saban is great, loved him and still have an autographed picture on my wall. But he did toss up some serious stinkers in his day, including 2003 and 2004. UAB I forgive team was not stocked like this one, but against UGA last year injuries ? We got some big ones this year (Alley Broussard, Kaule, and who is the other one thats hurt right now cannot remember) Less Smiles floated a stinker no question, but so did Saban in his day. the Iowa game is still unforgivable, that was the worst coached game I have ever seen.
