No one loved Saban. He's unlovable. Do people want him back? None i know. Do the les miles sycophants get upset when people compare our coach and program to the best coach out there? All the time. He just so happens to be our ex-coach who jacked us on Christmas like a petrino at night. It hurts to know we are relegated to second in our own division, possibly til he leaves. May as well get used to hearing about the actual legend. We all agree. It sucks. But it's nothing about love. It's just our reality.
So, you honestly can say that it isn't like the person that pines for the person who left them? I think it is. Is that pathetic? Yes.
No it's different. Comparing your program to the best is what fans do. The bar is set; it's just unfortunate it's nicks. Some just cant deal with that reality so they think that means he's wanted back. I don't think that's the case from the most. I know none personally. We just want what they have. The difference is we usually romanticize our exes as something they are not. Unfortunately, Saban is not struggling at Tulane like we all hoped.
I am certainly not saying throw in the towel, but we have got to give some of the guys who will be there next year some time on the field. Get up three td's put them in, we need all the experience we can get!
Come on Tirk, we all know those comparisons wouldn't be made nearly as much if it were someone like Chip Kelly at Alabama winning championships instead of the ole Ex.
